Being a Normal Student or a MakSci Student?

My parents once told me that high school life is the climax of my journey. In this stage you might meet you're trustful friends. You might experience things like sleeping in the class when your teacher discusses something, go home very late at night just to catch up with some things and you might even meet you're lover. It is fun. But being a MakSci student it is different, a lot more different from the ordinary high school students.

In ordinary high schools, they have all the time they want. They go to school for about 8 hours and have enough time to finish all their requirements. They don’t need to strive hard for a higher grade to maintain the quality of their school but they are encouraged to study well. In having the exams, they have more time to study and be prepared for it since they are not having classes the whole day. Most especially in having the National Achievement Test, it is really an advantage.

While in Makati Science High School, you must be there before 7:00 am or else you'll be late and absent from our first class. You'll be dismissed at 5:20 in the afternoon. There are some instances where in there would be three long examinations all in one day! Could you imagine how to study all of those subjects in just a short period of time? So you really need to exert effort to study very well because you're expected to maintain a high grade. Sometimes, these things make the students pressured especially for the first year students. But that doesn't end the life of MakSci students, some also cram their things just to submit it on time. But despite of all these things they are experiencing, they still find time to enjoy the day with their friends and special someone. The most restful day for them is when the stipend is released. Even if they experience problems, they still enjoy being a scholar student of Makati.

Being a MakSci student is a great privilege one can get. I learned a lot more things than just the lessons that were taught to us. I learned how to manage my time with family, friends, and studies. I learned the true essence of being a good student. And being a Maksci student is the bridge to success that I might get. I never regret that I graduated from this school because, here is were all my dreams lie.
